They also requested privacy during this time. Baena was found dead in a Los Feliz residence in Los Angeles on January 3. The couple, who began dating in 2011 and married in 2021, had collaborated on several films, including 'Life After Beth' and 'The Little Hours.' Plaza had been scheduled to present at the Golden Globes but withdrew following Baena's death. During the ceremony, director Brady Corbet paid tribute to Baena, expressing his condolences to Plaza and Baena's family.
