Argentinian President Fires Foreign Minister Over UN Embargo Vote on Cuba

Argentinian President Javier Milei has dismissed Foreign Minister Diana Mondino following her vote in favor of a United Nations resolution calling for the United States to lift its embargo on Cuba. The decision to remove Mondino was confirmed by spokesperson Manuel Adorni on Wednesday. Gerardo Werthein, the current Ambassador to the U.S., will replace Mondino as the new Foreign Minister. Milei emphasized that the diplomatic corps must reflect the values of liberty in every decision.
