Accenture Reports $17.7 Billion Revenue in Q1 FY25, Raises Full-Year Outlook

Accenture Plc reported its first-quarter fiscal 2025 results, surpassing Wall Street estimates with a revenue of $17.7 billion, marking a 9% increase in U.S. dollars and an 8% rise in local currency compared to the same period last year. The company's GAAP earnings per share (EPS) reached $3.59, up 16% from the previous year, beating analyst expectations of $3.42. Accenture also raised its full-year fiscal 2025 revenue growth outlook to between 4% and 7% in local currency, up from the previous range of 3% to 6%, and projected full-year GAAP EPS to be in the range of $12.43 to $12.79. For the second quarter, the company anticipates revenue to be between $16.2 billion and $16.8 billion. New bookings for the quarter totaled $18.7 billion, with generative AI bookings amounting to $1.2 billion. Accenture's GAAP operating margin improved by 90 basis points to 16.7%, and the company declared a quarterly cash dividend of $1.48 per share. Following the announcement, Accenture's stock rose 5% in premarket trading.
