Jul 6, 2024, 01:56 PM
A deceased person was found wrapped in a sleeping bag and left out for trash pickup on a Manhattan street. The body was discovered on 27th and 3rd, in front of Apel's Tailor shop. The New York Police Department (NYPD) responded to the scene and closed off half the street to pedestrians and cars for over an hour. The body, which was decomposing, was further wrapped in trash bags. This incident, reported on Citizen App, has raised concerns about crime in the area, particularly under Borough President Mark Levine.
