Federal Authorities Arrest South Carolina's Suman for Racist Threats Against Hispanic NY Reporter

A South Carolina man, Austin Suman, was arrested Friday morning in Myrtle Beach by federal authorities after allegedly making a series of violent, racist, and hate-based threats online against an Orange County, New York reporter. Suman is accused of threatening to kill the reporter, who is Hispanic, and her family, as well as threatening to blow up her house. The arrest was announced by the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York. Suman will be brought to New York to face charges.
