Helium Expands Rapidly, Onboards 750,000 Users, Adds 112,000 Subscribers, and Eyes $51M Revenue
Sep 7, 2024, 04:24 PM
Helium, a leading player in the decentralized wireless network sector, has been rapidly expanding its user base and network coverage. Since mid-June, Helium has onboarded over 750,000 real users. The company currently covers almost the entire US, which has 310 million mobile data subscribers. If just 3% of these subscribers switch to Helium, it could generate $51 million in annual revenue by offloading 10.2GB annually at $0.50/GB. Helium Mobile has already attracted over 112,000 subscribers with its unlimited phone plan. This growth is reflected in the price of Helium's token (HNT), which has risen 115% over the past two months. Additionally, MNO carriers have added over 200 hotspots to Helium's network, further enhancing its capabilities. The rise of DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Networks) is also contributing to this growth.
