UNDP and DFINITY Partner to Enhance MSME Financial Inclusion with UTC in Cambodia

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and DFINITY Foundation have announced a partnership to enhance financial inclusion for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs). The initiative, called Universal Trusted Credentials (UTC), aims to leverage the Internet Computer blockchain technology to develop a secure digital credentialing system. This system will be piloted in Cambodia and is expected to foster digital trust and financial inclusion for MSMEs globally. The collaboration also involves the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and is supported by UNDPtech and dfinity.
