Florida Woman Arrested for Instructing Child to Kill Infant via Roblox
Oct 22, 2024, 03:40 AM
A 36-year-old Florida woman, Tara Sykes, has been arrested on charges of attempted murder and aggravated child abuse. Sykes allegedly instructed a 10-year-old child to kill a 2-month-old infant by dropping the baby on a hard tile floor. Additionally, she gave the child instructions on how to kill adults they lived with by cutting their throats while they slept. The instructions were reportedly communicated through the online game Roblox. The infant suffered severe injuries as a result of the incident. Florida cops arrested Sykes on Friday. Police and court records also reveal another open case involving Sykes' pregnant 14-year-old daughter. The sheriff is "truly disturbed" by the case.
