Epic Games Sues Google and Samsung Over Auto Blocker Collusion

Epic Games has filed a lawsuit against Google and Samsung, accusing them of colluding to block competition on Samsung devices. The lawsuit centers around Samsung's Auto Blocker feature, which is turned on by default and prevents users from installing apps from sources other than Google Play or Samsung Galaxy Store. Epic Games alleges that this practice is anti-competitive and undermines efforts to open up Android devices to competition. This legal action follows Epic's previous antitrust lawsuit against Google, which it won. The lawsuit, filed in California, also mentions that Epic's Games Store has reached 10 million installs. Alphabet, Google's parent company, is also named in the suit, according to Reuters.
