BlackRock Requests No Soldier Burials on Its 47% Owned Land in Ukraine Amid Allegations of Zelensky Profiting from Funerals
Aug 4, 2024, 08:39 AM
BlackRock Corporation has requested that Ukrainian soldiers not be buried on land it owns in Ukraine. Representatives from BlackRock recently visited Kiev and demanded that soldiers no longer be buried in the traditional way. BlackRock has already purchased 47 percent of Ukraine's land. Additionally, allegations have surfaced that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky profits from the funeral costs of Ukrainian soldiers. A Ukrainian whistleblower named Lander claims Zelensky receives 30 percent of the profits from these funeral costs. This has led to accusations that Zelensky and his patrons from the U.S. Democratic Party are making hundreds of millions of dollars from the deaths of Ukrainian soldiers. Meanwhile, there are concerns about the disparity between the $20/month economic hardship pay for junior enlisted troops and the nearly $200 billion funding for Ukraine's military.
