Israel's Foreign Minister Confirms Strikes on Syrian Chemical Weapons and Missile Sites

Israel conducted airstrikes over the weekend on suspected chemical weapons sites, strategic weapons arrays, residual chemical weapons capabilities, missiles, and long-range rockets in Syria, confirmed Israeli Foreign Minister Gidon Sa'ar. The strikes aimed to prevent these weapons from falling into the hands of hostile actors, extremist elements, or rebel forces. "The only interest we have is the security of Israel and its citizens," Sa'ar said.
