VisitYemen's Houthis Claim Hypersonic Missile Strikes on Israel's Ben Gurion Airport, Jerusalem Power Station, and USS Harry S. Truman in Red Sea
Dec 31, 2024, 07:46 AM
The Houthi group, backed by Iran and based in Yemen, has claimed responsibility for two missile attacks on Israel. The first missile, identified as a Palestine-2 hypersonic ballistic missile, targeted Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv, while the second, a Zulfiqar ballistic missile, was aimed at a power station south of Jerusalem. These attacks were part of a broader operation that also included strikes against the USS Harry S. Truman, an American aircraft carrier, in the Red Sea. The Houthi military spokesperson, Yahya Saree, stated that the group's actions are in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza and in response to what they describe as American-British aggression against Yemen.
