EU and NATO Push for 40 Billion Euros in Military Aid to Ukraine
May 30, 2024, 12:43 PM
The European Union is pushing to boost military aid to Ukraine. NATO Chief Jens Stoltenberg has proposed that NATO allies pledge 40 billion euros per year to fund military aid for Ukraine. Stoltenberg emphasized that Ukraine can still prevail in its conflict with Russia, but only with continued robust support from NATO allies. The aim of this proposal, according to a NATO source, is to sustain the current level of support at a minimum, providing Ukraine with the predictability it needs.
