UAE Arrests Three Uzbek Men in Rabbi Kogan's Murder; Israel Calls It Anti-Semitic
Nov 24, 2024, 09:47 PM
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) authorities have arrested three suspects in connection with the murder of Israeli-Moldovan Rabbi Zvi Kogan, which Israel has described as an anti-Semitic terrorist attack. Rabbi Kogan, a Chabad emissary based in Abu Dhabi who managed a kosher supermarket in Dubai, was kidnapped on Thursday and later found dead. The UAE Ministry of Interior announced the arrests, stating that the suspects were apprehended in record time. The suspects, identified as Uzbek nationals—Olimboy Tohirovich, 28; Makhmudjon Abdurakhim, 28; and Azizbek Kamilovich, 33—have had their names and photos released by the authorities. The UAE government emphasized its commitment to maintaining security and preventing attacks on its citizens, residents, and visitors.
