VisitGoogle Expands SynthID to Invisible AI-Generated Video and Text
May 14, 2024, 06:35 PM
Google has announced the expansion of its SynthID watermark imprinting system to include AI-generated video and text. Originally introduced last year, SynthID adds invisible, imperceptible watermarks to AI-generated images and audio to make them easier to distinguish. The updated system will now cover text and video outputs, including those produced by Google's new Veo model. This move, highlighted at Google IO, aims to help identify generative content more effectively.
