On WSOP Day 17, Ivey triumphed in Event #29: $10,000 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw Championship, defeating Danny Wong heads-up to claim the top prize of $347,440. This victory places Ivey second on the all-time WSOP bracelet list, trailing only Phil Hellmuth, who has 17 bracelets. Ivey's win breaks his tie with poker legends Doyle Brunson, Johnny Chan, and Erik Seidel, each of whom has 10 bracelets. Jason Mercier was also a notable competitor in the event.
