Tesla's sales in China have shown significant growth in recent weeks. Between May 13 and 19, 13,800 Tesla vehicles were registered, marking a 41% week-over-week increase. This surge is attributed to Tesla's latest promotion offering buyers 0% interest financing or no down payment. Tesla's sales are particularly strong in the premium segment, with unrivaled performance in vehicles priced over 200,000 yuan. From January to April, Tesla exported approximately 119,000 units from China, placing it fourth among automobile brands. Year-to-date, Tesla's registrations in China have improved from -7% to -4%. Tesla's second-quarter performance is up 16% quarter-over-quarter but down 7% year-over-year.
