Tekashi 6ix9ine Admits Violations, Agrees to One Month Jail and Home Restrictions
Nov 7, 2024, 01:02 AM
Rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine has struck a deal with prosecutors to end his current jail stint by agreeing to serve a month behind bars for violating the terms of his release after a felony conviction. He is expected to plead guilty on November 12, admitting to each of the five specifications detailed in the Second Amended Violation report. The violation relates to his supervised release conditions stemming from a federal racketeering and firearms case plea deal. Prosecutors have recommended a sentence of 30 days' incarceration and additional home restrictions. Judge Paul Engelmayer must approve the sentence and has indicated he will ask why a month is appropriate.
