Dec 10, 2024, 08:10 AM
Israel has conducted massive air strikes across Syria, targeting and destroying key military installations following the fall of President Bashar al-Assad, according to reports from war monitors. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) indicated that over 300 Israeli air strikes have hit Syria since Sunday, representing one of the most extensive air campaigns in Israel's history. The strikes have destroyed the most important military sites in the country, including Syria's air force and navy, airports, aircraft squadrons, radars, military signal stations, chemical weapons facilities, and numerous weapons and ammunition depots. Israeli forces reportedly targeted military bases, air defense systems, naval ships, air force assets, and chemical weapons facilities across various regions, including Damascus, Aleppo, Hama, and Latakia.
