Zoom has announced the implementation of post-quantum end-to-end encryption for its video meetings, becoming the first Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) provider to offer this advanced level of security. The new encryption standard, known as Kyber-768, is approved by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) and aims to protect user data against potential future threats. This feature is now available for Zoom Meetings in Zoom Workplace. This move underscores Zoom's commitment to safeguarding user data amid increasing cybersecurity concerns.
