This move comes after Ukrainian ministers met with officials in Damascus on December 31, discussing security and economic prospects. Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine will support all efforts to stabilize Syria, including the implementation of the 'Grain from Ukraine' program, which recently saw over 20 trucks carrying 500 tons of flour sent to Syrian families for free distribution on December 31. Additionally, Zelenskyy mentioned plans to increase trade with Lebanon at least twofold, reflecting Ukraine's broader strategy to expand its reliable partnerships and enhance its economic engagements in the region.
