VisitZelensky Secures 30 F-16 Fighter Jets, €977M Military Aid from Belgium by 2028

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Brussels, Belgium on Tuesday to sign a bilateral security agreement with Prime Minister Alexander De Croo. The agreement includes at least €977 million in Belgian military aid to Ukraine this year. As part of the pact, Belgium will supply Ukraine with 30 F-16 fighter jets by 2028, with the first deliveries expected this year. Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib confirmed the delivery timeline. During his visit, Zelensky also toured the Melsbroek military airbase and met with technical personnel of F-16 fighter jets.
