Zelensky Declares 2025 Decisive Year, Plans One Million Drones, Expects US Support

He emphasized that peace will not be given as a gift, but expressed confidence that the United States will stand alongside Ukraine in its efforts to repel Russia's nearly three-year-old invasion. Zelensky said Ukraine must strive towards victory both on the battlefield and at the negotiation table, asserting that 2025 will be a decisive year in the pursuit of peace. He revealed plans to produce over one million drones annually to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities. He also declared, "We will continue to fight to achieve peace by force in 2025," and reflected on the resilience of the Ukrainian people, stating that "no cruise missile can defeat a nation that has wings."
