VisitZachry Holdings and Golden Pass LNG Settle Dispute, Exxon Mobil's $10 Billion Project Resumes
Jul 24, 2024, 08:13 PM
Zachry Holdings has reached a settlement with Golden Pass LNG, resolving a dispute that had stalled a $10 billion gas project on the Texas Gulf Coast. The settlement, approved by a Houston bankruptcy court judge on Wednesday, allows other companies to take over the construction of the plant. The Golden Pass project, a joint venture between Exxon Mobil and Qatar Energy, can now move forward after the approval. The settlement paves the way for the resumption of the project, which had been frozen due to the bankruptcy of Zachry Holdings, the former lead contractor.
