VisitYuka Saso Wins Second U.S. Women's Open Title at 4-Under Par by Age 22
Jun 2, 2024, 10:14 PM
Yuka Saso has won her second U.S. Women's Open title, making history as the first golfer to achieve this feat representing two different countries. Saso, who initially won the Women's Open in 2021 as a Filipino, secured her second title on Sunday, now representing Japan. The 22-year-old golfer delivered a final-round 68 at Lancaster Country Club, overcoming a three-shot deficit to finish at 4-under par. Saso's performance included three par putts over 10 feet and was part of a day that saw only 13 under-par scores. Minjee Lee and Saso shared the lead midway through the second round. Her victory places her among the youngest golfers to win the U.S. Women's Open twice.
