The Yemeni armed forces, known as the Houthis, have launched a significant military operation targeting U.S. naval assets in the Arabian Sea and the Gulf of Aden. According to the Houthis' military spokesman, the operation involved the use of 16 ballistic and cruise missiles, along with drones, targeting an American destroyer and three supply ships: the Stena Impeccable, Maersk Saratoga, and Liberty Grace. The U.S. Navy destroyers USS Stockdale and USS O'Kane successfully intercepted and neutralized three anti-ship ballistic missiles, three drones, and one anti-ship cruise missile launched by the Houthis. The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) confirmed that no damage or injuries were sustained by the U.S. ships involved.
