VisitX Updates Rules to Allow AI-Generated NSFW Content with Proper Labeling
Jun 3, 2024, 04:22 PM
Social media platform X has updated its rules to formally permit the sharing of consensually-produced adult content, including AI-generated media, provided it is properly labeled and not prominently displayed. This change, aligning with previous experiments under Elon Musk, replaces the former Sensitive Media and Violent Speech policies with new Adult Content and Violent Content policies. The updated rules specify that adult content is not allowed in profile pictures and headers. The platform, which allows users as young as 13, aims to bring more clarity and transparency to its enforcement policies. The policy change was reported by TechCrunch and includes NSFW content.
