Worldcoin Token Jumps 20% as Tools for Humanity Extends Lock-Up Period

Tools for Humanity has extended the token lock-up period for early Worldcoin ($WLD) contributors. Approximately 80% of the investors and team members will now see their tokens unlocked more gradually over the next four years, instead of two. The revised unlocking schedule, detailed in the latest Worldcoin white paper, extends from three years to five years. Starting July 24, about 2 million WLD tokens will be unlocked daily, equivalent to approximately $4.8 million. This announcement has led to a significant increase in the value of the Worldcoin token, which jumped by 20%, and by 15% according to some sources.
