Sep 17, 2024, 04:10 PM
Workday has announced the acquisition of Evisort, an AI-powered contract management platform, for an undisclosed amount. This acquisition was revealed during Workday Rising 2024, where the company also introduced Workday Illuminate, its next-generation AI systems. Workday Illuminate aims to transform work processes through AI agents across HR and financial processes, and new interfaces. Shane Luke, Vice President of AI and Machine Learning at Workday, emphasized the transformative potential of combining context and data. Terrance Wampler, group general manager, noted that Evisort's AI capabilities will enable customers to surface critical insights within untapped data. Nearly 1,000 customers are already using Workday's low-code and no-code tools for developing applications on its cloud platform. The event also highlighted Workday Assistant, a tool designed to help employees with tasks they do not perform daily, and new capabilities for handling payroll and grants.
