Sep 15, 2024, 02:36 PM
The Washington Commanders have announced a new stadium naming rights deal with Northwest Federal Credit Union. The newly renamed Northwest Stadium will host its home opener on Sunday, where fans might experience increased ticket prices and higher concession costs. Josh Harris, the team's owner, discussed the alignment of the naming rights deal with the organization's broader objectives, including winning. Harris noted that the team received multiple offers for the naming rights, some of which proposed a carryover relationship to the next stadium, but ultimately chose Northwest Federal Credit Union. Jeff Bentley, President and CEO of Northwest Federal Credit Union, joined Harris in the official announcement and addressed questions from the media.
