Self-driving startup Waabi has successfully raised $200 million in a Series B funding round led by Uber and Khosla Ventures. The $200M funding will support Waabi's efforts to launch driverless commercial trucks in Texas. Founded by Raquel Urtasun, Waabi aims to deploy fully driverless, generative AI-powered trucks by 2025. The company's generative AI technology promises to do much more than just power self-driving trucks, bringing advanced AI systems that can reason as a human would.
