Vivek Ramaswamy, former Republican presidential candidate, faced a hostile reception at an anti-Israel protest outside the Democratic National Committee (DNC) in Chicago. As Ramaswamy arrived at Union Park, he was met by pro-Palestine protesters who chanted 'racist go home' and attempted to push him out of the area. The confrontation escalated as protesters swarmed him, expressing their disapproval of his stance on Israel. Ramaswamy, who had intended to engage with the protesters and had an interview set up, was ultimately forced to leave the scene amid the tense atmosphere. During the event, he also bought a communist newspaper from the protesters.
