VisitVista Fire in San Bernardino Mountains Grows Over 100 Acres

The Vista Fire, which started in the San Bernardino Mountains near Lytle Creek, has grown rapidly. Initially reported to cover between 1/2 to 1 acre with a potential to spread to 50 acres, the fire has now expanded to over 100 acres. The San Bernardino County Fire Department is assisting the Angeles National Forest and CAL FIRE in combating the blaze. The fire was reported to be 9 acres with a slow rate of spread before it expanded. Currently, no homes are threatened, and no evacuations have been ordered for the Vista Fire.
