Virginia Man Frank Carillo Charged with Threatening Vice President Kamala Harris

A Virginia man, Frank Carillo, has been charged with making numerous violent online threats against Vice President Kamala Harris and other public officials, including President Joe Biden and FBI Director Christopher Wray. The threats were posted on the social media platform GETTR. Carillo, a 66-year-old from Winchester, Virginia, was arrested by the FBI after Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer alerted authorities. The threats included graphic and violent language, such as promising to 'personally pluck out her eyes' and 'burn her alive.' Carillo made 19 threats and faces federal charges for these threats, which carry significant penalties.
