Virginia Man Arrested Wednesday as Suspected 'Georgetown Cuddler' in Georgetown and College Park Cold Case Sexual Assaults

On Wednesday, D.C. police announced the arrest of a Virginia man suspected of committing a series of cold case sexual assaults and potentially dozens more crimes in the Georgetown area of Washington, D.C., and in College Park, Maryland. Known as the 'Georgetown Cuddler,' the suspect is linked to several rapes where the attacker broke into women's homes between 2006 and 2012. The arrest comes after an over a decade-long investigation into the elusive assailant who preyed on women in their homes, including off-campus apartments between 2008 and 2012.
