Violent protests erupted in Davao City, Philippines, on August 25, as police attempted to arrest Apollo Quiboloy, a fugitive preacher with connections to former President Rodrigo Duterte's family. The confrontation led to injuries, including six police officers, as Quiboloy's supporters occupied a section of the highway.
