Vinícius Júnior, the Brazilian forward for Real Madrid and the national team, has been named the FIFA The Best Men's Player of 2024 at a ceremony in Doha, Qatar. He is the first Brazilian to receive the award since Kaká in 2007 and the sixth overall, marking Brazil's return to the top of men's soccer after 17 years. Vinícius had an outstanding season with Real Madrid, scoring 24 goals and providing 11 assists in 39 games, and was instrumental in the team's victories in the UEFA Champions League, La Liga, and the Spanish Super Cup.
