The Minnesota Vikings have traded up to secure the 10th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft, selecting Michigan quarterback J.J. McCarthy, who went 28-1 during his college career. In the trade, the Vikings exchanged their 11th overall pick, a fourth-round pick (129th overall), and a fifth-round pick (157th overall) with the New York Jets, who in return sent the 10th pick and a sixth-round pick (203rd overall) to the Vikings.
