A video showing a youngster voting eight times for BJP candidate Mukesh Rajput in Uttar Pradesh's Farrukhabad Lok Sabha constituency has gone viral. The incident, which occurred on May 13, has led to widespread concerns over electoral transparency and rigging. Prominent political figures, including SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav, Congress, RJD, and TMC, have demanded action from the Election Commission of India (ECI). An FIR has been registered under sections 171-F and 419. Navdeep Rinwa, the chief electoral officer of UP, confirmed the registration of the FIR. The ECI has been criticized for not instilling confidence among the public regarding the transparency of the electoral process.
