The conflict began with Maduro accusing Musk of supporting protests against his regime and conspiring to overthrow him. In response, Musk accepted the challenge, stipulating that if he wins, Maduro must resign as dictator of Venezuela, and if Maduro wins, Musk will give him a free ride to Mars.
