VisitV^3 Introduces High-Quality Volumetric Videos on Mobile via Streamable 2D Dynamic Gaussians
Sep 23, 2024, 05:40 AM
Researchers have introduced V^3, a novel approach for viewing volumetric videos on mobile devices via streamable 2D dynamic Gaussians. This method aims to render high-fidelity volumetric video as seamlessly as 2D videos, addressing a long-held dream in the field. The approach ensures high quality and uses a compact dynamic Gaussian model. Additionally, the 3D-GSW watermark method has been proposed to protect copyrights in radiance fields by embedding a watermark into 3D Gaussian splatting. The contributions include Frequency-Guided Densification (FGD) with 3D Gaussian splatting.
