Jun 10, 2024, 01:02 PM
UwU Lend, a DeFi protocol, has been exploited for over $20 million. The attack, which is ongoing, has seen multiple assets affected. The attacker executed three transactions within six minutes, converting stolen WBTC and DAI to ETH. The funds were funneled through Tornado Cash. Blockchain security firms, including CyversAlerts and Arkham, have reported the incident, with the attacker currently holding approximately $19.5 million in assets. UwU Lend, launched by Frog Nation's former CFO 0xSifu, is a fork of the Aave protocol. Initial reports indicated $14 million was drained.
