A Utah family was reunited with their cat, Galena, after it was accidentally shipped nearly 1000 kilometers to California in an Amazon return package. The cat, a 6-year-old shorthair with a fondness for cardboard, survived six days without food or water after sneaking into a 3-by-3-foot box used to return shoes. The box was dropped off at a location before being transported to an Amazon facility near Riverside. Galena was found dehydrated but healthy by a veterinarian in Southern California. The incident caused significant distress and panic for the owner, Carrie Clark.
