Nov 3, 2024, 09:01 PM
The U.S. Postal Service has initiated an investigation after a postal worker allegedly disposed of approximately 300 political mailers supporting Republican Rep. Thomas Kean, Jr. of New Jersey. The mail was reportedly found shredded on the side of Brown Road by Sprout Creek in Wappingers Falls, New York, and in a dumpster at a Pennsylvania supermarket. The incident, which is being treated as a serious offense, was reportedly captured on surveillance video. The New York Republican State Committee has expressed concern over the matter, urging the USPS to determine whether the act was committed by one of its employees or contractors.
