The US Supreme Court has agreed to hear a bid by US gun maker Smith & Wesson and firearms wholesaler Interstate Arms to dismiss Mexico's lawsuit accusing them of aiding the illegal trafficking of firearms to Mexican drug cartels. The lawsuit, filed by the Mexican government, alleges that these companies facilitated firearm sales to individuals connected to violent drug cartels in Mexico. SCOTUS will consider the case, which was filed in an American court, on Friday.
