US and Germany Support Ukraine's Use of Supplied Weapons for Cross-Border Strikes in Kursk Region

In recent statements, both the United States and Germany have affirmed Ukraine's right to use weapons supplied by them as it sees fit, including for cross-border strikes. John Kirby, a National Security spokesperson for the White House, stated that Ukraine's attack on Russia's Kursk region aligns with the rules for using U.S. weapons. Similarly, Arno Kollats, a spokesman for the German Ministry of Defense, confirmed that once weapons are transferred to Ukraine, they become its property and can be used at its discretion, with no restrictions. The State Department also expressed support for Ukraine's actions, describing them as 'common sense' measures to defend the country. The legality of Ukrainian military actions in Russia's Kursk region is supported by international law.
