VisitUNLV Football (4-0) Enters AP Top 25 at No. 25 After Dominant Win Over Fresno State
Oct 1, 2024, 02:46 PM
UNLV has achieved a historic milestone by entering the AP Top 25 for the first time in its football program's history, securing the No. 25 spot following a decisive 59-14 victory over Fresno State. The Rebels' performance has been stellar this season, boasting an undefeated 4-0 record and averaging 45.25 points per game. This achievement is complemented by Boise State's rise to No. 21 after defeating Washington State. The Mountain West Conference now has two teams ranked in the Top 25, a first since the final poll of the 2021 season. UNLV's next challenge is a home game against Syracuse, who holds a 3-1 record. UNLV also ranks in the USA Today Coaches Poll for the first time since joining Division I in 1978. Additionally, the Rebels have secured a new multi-million Mountain West deal. The betting line for the upcoming game against Syracuse has moved from 4.5 to 6.5 points in favor of UNLV.
