Ukrainians have demonstrated remarkable resilience and unity by raising significant funds for the recovery of the Ohmatdyt Children's Hospital in Kyiv, which was destroyed by a missile strike. In just 22 hours, nearly $8 million, equivalent to 250 million hryvnias, was raised through a fundraiser organized by Oleh Horokhovskyi, Monobank, and the charitable platform United24. Ukrainian big businesses also contributed UAH 100 million in just 3 hours. The funds will help rebuild the hospital and provide essential supplies such as food, water, and transportation for patients and staff.
