VisitUkrainian Strikes Damage Russian Su-57 New Generation Fighter Jet and Air Defense Systems
Jun 10, 2024, 06:51 PM
Russian sources have confirmed that Ukrainian strikes have damaged a Su-57 new generation fighter jet, destroyed an S-300 system, and seriously damaged a Pantsir air defense unit at the Akhtubinsk military base in the Astrakhan region of Russia. The Su-57, which will take at least six months to repair, was targeted in a drone strike on the night of June 7-8. High-resolution satellite images released by Maxar and The Warzone show burn marks and a small crater near the jet's cockpit, suggesting shrapnel damage. The attack occurred over 750 kilometers from the frontline.
