The Ukrainian Armed Forces have reported the successful downing of a Russian Su-34 fighter-bomber in the Kursk region. According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the incident occurred overnight during a combat mission. The Su-34 aircraft, used by Russian forces to deploy glide bombs on Ukrainian military positions and civilian infrastructure, was destroyed by the anti-aircraft missile forces of the Ukrainian Air Force. This marks another instance of Ukrainian defense forces targeting Russian military assets in the ongoing conflict.
